According to the Vietnam law, you must install wastewater treatment system for your restaurant. After your treated wastewater meets the Vietnamese standard (QCVN 14:2008/BTNMT), you will get a permission to allow discharging treated wastewater to the environment.
In case you don't do this, you will be fined when the Authority detect.
The Authority here can be: Environmental police (from Ministry or Local), Department of Natural Resources & Environment (of the City or Province), Office of Natural Resources & Environment (of the District or Suburban District), Branch Office of Environmental Protection, interdisciplinary inspection delegation...
Therefore you should have a plan to build up the wastewater treatment system, then you will be secure to focus on your main business without worrying about inspection or fine of the Authority.
